I do care about side to side and it works for me. Different strokes for different folks.
They do call it a "queen", but queen size - home mattress - is usually 60x80 (some minor variation with manufacturers). So a bit wider than queen but definitely shorter.

You can sleep the same way in a regular Zion if you wish. The only reason to go with the SRT is if you need to do city parking al ot. If your useage takes you to urban areas mostly, then you'll appreciate the shorter length.

I wonder how much cheaper when both are fully loaded?
It will be interesting to compare the two models when you can build an SRT on the RT website (still not posted as of yet though).

Well, if there is any logic to it, the difference should only be in the base cost of the van.
The cabinetry difference is minimal, so you might save a few hundred $ on that. The extra cost paint colors should also be a little less, as there is less surface area.
I'm betting, in the end, that similarly equipped vans would only be a few thousand dollars apart. The SRT is only 15" shorter, with all the mechanicals the same, so it won't be a great deal cheaper than a regular Zion.

As posted earlier, the list is 4k less than Zion. I suspect options will cost the same. I noticed the spec sheet for both Zion and SRT list the same vehicle wt.

That makes sense. I just wish that RT would try another floorplan, maybe similar to the Hymercar Grand Canyon.

Bad news Islandrog. The fall show was canceled this year. The next one will be in February. A couple of years ago my wife and I had a lot of fun attending the Tacoma show, although they only had one B. Does the Seattle show usually have a few more Bs present?

It has been a number if years since I attended the Seattle show. Actually the Feb. show is the one I am looking forward to. We will probably make the Tacoma show next month as well.

This is Roadtrek you are talking about. For all we know the SRT could have just been a concept to generate interest. Maybe they will scrap it altogether.

When I talked with Jim, it seemed like they were committed to it. They have alot of customers who want a shorter van, and supply of the Chevy Express is limited.
