Default Bathroom sink drainage tip - in case you didn't know.

Being curious as to what makes things tick I carelly looked into that trough that the sink drains into. I'll bet many of you owners don't know that there is a drain stopper back there! I didn't notice it in the manual and wouldn't have thought of it. It is like the typical bathroom stopper in a sink. It can be pulled up, out, or pushed down to seal (keep any sewer gasses out I suppose?). It is a good idea to check that your stopper is open and also a good idea to clean the trough back in there. I found my stopper almost closed from road vibration so I check it often. I do use the bathroom pullman sink quite often while self contained so I don't fill the gray water tank.

Another trivial item for people to know is that the shower "power" drain and bathroom sink (as well as the toilet) ALL drain to the Black Tank. Only the kitchen sink drains to the Gray Tank. That is what enables a few showers while self contained. When I first got the rig thinking the shower drains into the gray like most other RV's and realizing that the gray capacity was so low, I wondered how I would ever take a shower if I am not hooked up? Sounds funny but I figured I could only turn the water on for a few seconds and twirl around in the shower like an ice skater. Whew! Not the case! Really love this rig.

One more obvious tip about the bathroom sink.....when it has water in it - put it up slowly...I put mine up too fast the first few times and had water everywhere. Just saying.....lol.
