Been there! you can see all I did at www.cccgis.com/Rialta
I converted mine to all electric so that freed up a lot of space.
I went with a smaller water tank because we don't dry camp.
This let me add a larger water heater that supports the new large bathroom!

There is a site specifically for Rialta you will find all you need to know there the Rialta is already marginal for the load on the rear axle so increasing the size of the freshwater tank would be a killer and the holding tanks couldnt possibly contain that volume

Default Over my head

Having spent the last week researching various components and trying to make heads or tales of them, I've come tor realize (although I probably knew it all along) that I'm in way over my head.

I wonder if I might be able to find someone who wanted to make some $$ and could advise me on the right equipment to pick out and then could either come to me or I could bring the RV to them and they could help me install it?

I realize that's a pretty tall ask, but I figure it never hurts to ask.

I suggest to replace what needs to be replaced with exact replacements, this could be the easiest route.

As the Rialta is almost a 30 year old vehicle, and this one hasn't run in at least 8 years, this is a perfect opportunity to remove the outdated equipment and update / upgrade with newer technology.

So that's the route I'd like to go.

I can provide you with all the parts list of the Items I used to upgrade my Rialta RD.
Can also provide consulting services to do whatever you want to do to your your R.
I have been in the RV industry for more than 50 years started when I was a kid working at the family RV business. If you are interested then let me know and we can setup a video call and discuss in detail.
