Default Backseat Seatback Retainer

I am looking to replace this part on my 2007 Roadtrek 210 Versaltile. It is a black plastic retainer that holds the seat back on the passenger seat behind the driver's seat. There is a pin that slides down into it holding the seat back in place. Does anyone have any idea where I can find one of these?

Welcome to the forum Aremehr!

Sorry that you didn't get any response to your previous post here: http://www.classbforum.com/forums/f2...tile-9701.html

Some Roadtrek parts are hard to come by. Maybe someone here with the same seat retainer problem has found a source or figured out an alternative.

Good luck.

You might look on FB, they have a Roadtrek Chevy Group; they also have a Parts & Equipment for Sale/Trade. Ron

Thanks Ron! I'll check it out. I may have to make one if I can't find one.

Just thinking out side of the box, could you find a door hinge with removable pin with holes large enough for the metal post to act as the pin? You would have to use other screw holes to attach the hinge to the wall.

Another possible out-of-the-box: Check out bedframe hardware on Amazon. Maybe something like those which hold a wooden side rail to the headboard. They're often slide-in fasteners.

Please let me know what you find or end up doing. I have the same issue and have been looking for this part and called several so-called Roadtrek dealers, they don't understand what I'm talking about and are no help. Anxious to hear what you end up doing! Frustrating that this part cannot be found!
