Default 2016 Roadtrek Popular Height with solar

Hello to the board. Searching for this bit of info and not finding it and could use the wisdom of the board. Newbie here and looking into purchasing a used 2016 Roadtrek 210 Popular with the optional solar panel.
Any clues as to what is considered the total overall height with the installed solar panel? I know that the height is 105” without the panel. Would that vary depending on installer or was there a standard install for Roadtrek?
I’m limited to 9 feet high (108”) in the place I need to park it. Should I give it up?
Thanks for any and all responses.

I think the solar panel would be lower than the highest point on your Roadtrek.

Don't believe the heights Roadtrek gives in the literature, as we found that to be off on our 07 190P, so it probably is on others also.

Our 190 with about 2" of lift makes it through a 9' 3" door with a few inches to spare. The door opening is actually a bit under the 9' 3" because of the door stop on the top.

Best to take your van into wherever it needs to go and measure how much more space you actually have to play with.

We have three 100 watt glass panels on ours with an inch underneath them and they are at the high point about even with the top of the fan cover when closed.

I have a nominal 9’ garage door- actually a couple of inches less- and our stock (no solar) 2014 190P won’t fit. The 210P uses a different mold, so height may be slightly different. There can be differences between otherwise identical units due to tires or other modifications. Overhead clearance can also be affected by the grade. My driveway slopes slightly down headed into the garage, which reduces clearance.

The roof on my 190P is lower toward the back, so if a solar panel were installed toward the rear it might not affect clearance at all. The high point on mine seems to be the wet bath vent. There’s a TV antenna at the rear, but since it sits on the lowest part of the roof, it’s below the vent.

Bottom line it’ll be really close and only careful measurement will tell. Take a friend, a short stepladder, a 4’ level, and a tape measure when you inspect the van. Make sure it’s on level ground and take measurements at several places.

I have a 2016 Roadtrek Popular with factory roof solar panels parked in my garage (garage is 10 ft. tall) I can measure the Roadtrek and advise you if you want. Let me know.

Cool

The solar panel on my 2016 Roadtrek 210 Popular is 64" X 39" X 1.5".

The distance from the ground to the top of the solar panel is 102" (8' 6").

My RT has a SOLE High Definition Terrestrial Antennae that sits about 4 inches on top of the rear solar panel frame. Therefore, the clearance of my RT is 106" (8' 10").

The stock Roadtrek air vent sits about 1 inch below the solar panel.

I installed a Max Air Vent Cover to our old 2007 Roadtrek 210 Versatile.

According to the installer, it made the Roadtrek clearance at 9' 2" tall (110 inches).

I have pictures available if they will help you.

I used to have a 2017 Roadtrek 190 Popular (built on a 2016 Chevy Express) with solar I think the total height was 9'9".
