I filmed the water sanitizing and fill-up today. I would be curious to know if anybody actually drinks the water out of their fresh water holding tanks. We have not in 5 years of Roadtrek ownership.

Good summary, my process is a little shorter. It takes me a few minutes of work in about an hour to sanitize my system.
1. Open all faucets.
2. Open both valves to drain fresh 12 gal /water heater 4 gal tanks
3. Close drain valves
4. Place the garden hose inline filter (see the picture) between filling hose and city inlet
5. Fill the filter plastic transparent cap with bleach
6. Fill to full fresh and hot water tanks water bleach mix, close and wait 15 min.
7. Go to #2
8. Sometimes go again to #2

One hour, done. My fresh water tank and hot water heater tank are made from stainless steel which prevents algae or bacteria to grow. We use water for personal hygiene and for cooking. If I have freshly filled water at home, we drink it directly.

Yep, don’t happen to drink much of it but I drink it. I just let the chlorine in the home tap water take care of it. It do not fill it with non treated spring water. If I did I would add chlorine.

That filter is a great idea for injecting the chlorine into the tanks, you could refill the filter a few times to get the required amount. The Roadtrek manual states 3 hours so I can't say to do it for less time. I think I will buy one so I can use it to dose the tank each time I fill.
I would at least use some of the Camco water treatment when filling the tank. When we are travelling we always sample the water to see if it is loaded with iron before taking on any water.
