Default A little more storage in a 59g

This is not my idea. I stole it from somewhere, I don't remember where.

Under the dinette seat in a 59g is this big area that has the water heater and some electrics. There is also this massive frame that is the structure for the seatbelts.

If you cut a piece of plywood/osb to 19"x23" it will just lay on the sealbelt frame and cover the electrical stuff.

Now you've got a place for stuff that you might use very infrequently. I say infrequently, because it's not readily accessible so I put a bag of leveling blocks, the screen for the rear entry, the flat tire kit, a funnel for fresh water, etc. This is stuff I don't use every trip, but I want to keep it in the van. It's actually quite a bit of space.

Default and another spot

is under the swivel seats. The rear trim piece comes off easily and I've got my flat tire kit under pass seat and my 25' fresh water hose under drivers seat. Needed a small lite bungee to help secure tire inflator, other wise both are a perfect fit.
At least in a 59k.

Yeah Eric, I saw that someplace too. It's a good spot to store things you rarely use, since it's not easy to get too.

Gobird - Your mention of the tire kit reminded me. I recommend picking up a spare tire. A new rim and tire cost me about 200 bucks. Considering the cost of the coach, an extra 200 ain't bad. That little pump and canister of goop won't help much if you have a major blowout in the middle of East Hooterville. My spare is under the bed. Soon, I'll get some kind of bracket to mount it on the outside rear.
