Macerator marine toilet and macerator to discharge the black tank. Tank discharge could be done with a simpler centrifugal pump but it would require some new design. I believe Davydd last ARV was done this way. Black tank is never open in living space but the disadvantage is Increase water consumption which Davydd reported. I had similar system with a marine toilet with manual pump using seawater and worked great. I like your sealed system as well.

Default Porta potti

We've liked our Porta-Potty. It has a spout so it's easy to dump into a hole in the ground without spills, and if it does spill, a quick hose solves it. Also easy to dump into toilets.

Being a sealed container it's not likely to leak if you do have to carry it any distance.

Not quite as easy to remove since it's not in a hole in the side of the van, but not a big deal.
