Default Engine compartment sound deadening.

My Promaster build is near completion and I notice the majority of noise is now coming from the front mostly from the engine exhaust. The back of my van is almost completely quiet. Anyone Attempt any soundproofing in the engine compartment on their Promaster rigs?

Default

most sounddeadener mats ( like at car audio stores- dynamat for one) convert vibrations into heat to kill sound...they also act as insulation.

probably in a van best under the carpet and around teh doghouse.

youtube will show kids applying this material in their cars, so you can see how it is to work with
