Default Just had the thought

I was just thinking about water & boondocking. I know you won't get a lot especially for the gas used but anyone ever try to reclaim the water from the AC and reuse it in their system for washing and toilet? I don't drink the holding tank water so it is used mostly for the toilet and maybe wash/rinse off something. I have drank the water from an AC unit before and am still alive but as stated not intended for drinking. I also realize that running the genny will use gas faster than water needed under normal usage.
I guess it may help with a cooling effect if spread accross the RV from the eveporation but I was just trying to see how efficient things can be converted to.

Any comments on this or other methods of efficency for our Bs???

If you are already planning to use the A/C, I don't see any problem with reclaiming the condensed water. You might as well reclaim the water from the vehicle A/C also.

I definitely would not run the A/C for the purpose of collecting condensation.

I would also not drink that stuff. It was probably clean water, back when the condenser was pristine and clean. Since it gets wet, it tends to collect dirt and fungus, etc.
