Default LED lights

Thinking about getting a battery powered, stick'em up light for the rear of our van. Anyone have any advice as to which one and the best way to install for one who is not very adept with tools nor sharp objects. Really don't want some gooey adhesive unless that's the only alternative.

thanks

Default Re: LED lights

You have a new van so I don't know if you want to use screws but that is how I did it. I don't mind drilling holes in my 1997. I needed some extra lighting but I didn't want to run wiring so I bought some Dollar Store LED lights. The backs of some brands of lights twist off or slide off. I mounted the plastic back cover of the lights (the part you remove to install batteries) with really small screws then slid or twisted on the front light section. I put them in cupboards etc. I just twist or slide the light section off to replace batteries. Rectangular lights have a back that slides of and most round lights twist off.

Some puck type lights rattle a bit when you're driving. The backs of the Sylvania puck style lights are screwed on so I couldn't use those.
