Default Mod My Traverse led strip lighting!

I just bought my 2 nd class b after 15 years with my knight hill custom class b. I needed more sleeping space and newer.
After many years secretly lusting after westy's but not into constant vw repairs
I found out about the traverse and found a used one.
It's a 2002 100 km ish garage kept by previous owner and has instant hot water upgrade and core racing mag wheels.
So far I have list of mods that I want to do..
1)LED lights**

This is done
2) add USB ports
This is done

3) add digital furnace thermostat
4)reflectix solar window liners for hot days

5)k&n air filter
Done
6) grill bug screen and hood bug deflector
Done
I modded a 2003 grill screen I got for cheap and Ava bugflector ll 40% off on sale from lordco

7) led strip lights in closets with switches , under sink with micro switch, and along floor under counter
window screens for front windows and side door
Got some very nice skeeter Beeter screens

9) shelf in under sink

I got the led strip light in the mail today. It seemed like a big package when I opened I found it had three 5 meter rolls in it. Holy cow I only paid 10 dollars through amazon for it thinking it would one roll . zzok a long time time to get here about 6 weeks.
But it all works and is waterproof and has 3m self sticking backing.
Where to start
I don't think my wife wants 45 feet of strip light in the van..

That's a good use for the led strip. Is that just pieces of it? (Are you able to cut it?)

Default New Traverse project

yes you can cut and then solder sections together if needed,
The last pick is the rear closet it has three sections connected with wire to go around supports and fit where I wanted it.
Im waiting of some switches to arrive in mail so I can finish it up.
Every three leds there are solder pads that is where u cut it. If the piece is an end piece then you cut before pads, otherwise cut after.

Here some "strip light fixtures I made for the rear closet area.
There are twinned with a gap in the middle for the clothes hanger block .

Looks like you used right angle aluminum for the fixture. That's a great idea - it'll make it "indirect" lighting. Easy to mount also.

Yup aluminum Angle with mounting tape on the back side. Very light and easy to mount and shines straight down.

Default Mod My Traverse led strip lighting!

Thanks I just finished last week another lighting bit as well.
I installed a rgbw(red-green blue-white) led strip lighting under the length of countertop. It is controlled a by a wifi enabled driver that creates its own hotspot and is controlled by an app on my iPhone.
The app lets you control it an bunch of different ways like , multi colour fades, custom sequences and music controlled "disco/rave" mode . A mobile party van now.https://vimeo.com/107007286
