Default Simplest of projects:

Prior to next trip I'm going to cover the mirror that's on the outside (aisle-way side) of the bathroom door (R/T190V).

It's reflections when backing the Van are very distracting, let alone being false to the Van's movement.....bill

I often had a folded full size towel hanging on a towel rack covering the mirror in my Roadtrek:

One thing to note - the towel rack would only let the door open about 130 degrees. My RT had the permanent armoire next to the bathroom area. The rounded corner of the towel rack would come to rest against the armoire door. It was not a problem for us.

I had a matching towel rack on the entertainment center door.

I think the previous owner of my RT put them in.

Default Thanks!

I appreciate this tip, as it has bugged me as well. You know those suction cup sun blockers you put on the window by a baby seat? I wonder if I can find one of those that is the right size??

Default while snooping around Wal Mart..

I found an el Cheapo, plastic, made in china wall clock ($3+change) that I'm going to mount in the Van (don't know where as yet). (found at Wal Mart).

I've got a couple of packs of 1" square Velcro tabs and I'm going to use those to mount the clock. (the heaviest part of the clock is the single AA size battery so the Velcro will hold the clock securely while the Van is in motion).

Point is, while applying the Velcro tabs to the clock's rear, I got the brilliant idea to ask my Wife to sew a tab on each corner of a color coordinated (with the Van's woodwork), cut to size hand towel that I'll place over the bathroom door's mirror when driving.

Will be easy to "store" should I have need of the mirror while parked - and - won't have to drill holes in the door.....bill

Default Changed my mind - again..

I took a 2nd look at blocking the bathroom door's reflection and the solution is just too obvious - I put the shower curtain on the "outside" of the door and ran it down and thru the already mounted towel bar.

No holes to drill, screws to screw-in or sticky-backed Velcro tabs to put on the woodwork.....bill
