I have spent a significant amount of time thinking about how to improve the beds in our 2019 Coachman Crossfit 22D (now known as the Coachman Beyond). We have the configuration with 2 23 inch "twin" beds in the back that make out to a 68 inch bed with 4 tables that are taken out and stowed again after each use. Here are the issues: 1. 23" is small even for a small body size 2. Eliminate or the hassle of making the bed up/down every night. My objectives: 1. Slightly widen the 23 inch twin without significantly reducing the floor space. 2. Improve comfort of the 23 inch twin mattresses that are foam. 3. Reduce the daily hassle factor for making the bed up/down. I LOVE THE IKEA SLATTED BED IDEA. Any other suggestions out there?
