One Way Rentals

We are interested in a one-way cross country road trip.
We figured this would be a good way to figure out if eventually owning one is for us.

Are there any good options for one-way Class B rentals?

Advanced RV doesn't seem to offer one ways.
I doubt Outdoorsy would either, since they are renting from owners.
Waiting to hear back from Fretz.

Any info on this would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Campervan North America offers one way rentals, but there are only a few pickup & drop-off points. Have not used them myself.

Buy one... put it up for sale at the other end.

If you rent, you will be paying by the week, plus mileage if applicable.
Then there is the one-way fee, which will be quite a bit if you are on the other coast.
You will be better off buying one and selling it when done.

+1 on buy/sell.

This is what convinced my husband and me to take the plunge. A good used Class B does not lose value quickly (unless the buyer overpays to start with). If we had decided to sell our van shortly after buying, then technically we would have been out the Texas sales tax (because we had done an honest purchase rather than a Montana LLC transaction) but not much else. It seemed like a fairly low-risk option.

We are at high season right now, however. Buying in spring and selling in the fall is probably the scenario with the greatest potential for value loss.
