Rialta generator removal
No need to remove the generator to replace the fuel pump. Remove the bottom cover plate, about 14 bolts, and it's under there.

wanted-lock assy for 1999 Rialta
I just stopped at Tri-Mark a few days ago to get some information. The side door latch has been replaced by part number 33680-01-K. That's a new inner piece, outer piece, and 2 keys. Price is...

reduce swaying
Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about the swaying on rutted roads. It happens because the rear tires are set farther apart than the front ones. The front and rear are "fighting" to get...

How does Rialta handle in the wind
The air bags don't increase the weight carrying capacity. They just assist with the spring rate on the rear.

losing power and fuel milage
There are adapters on ebay. Item # 331069683351 is one example.
There's also a less expensive option than VCDS that can read the codes, though it won't allow the extra detail. Item #...

It has an OBD-I port. There are two connectors at the top of the fuse panel, one white and one black. Using an adapter cable for these, VCDS can talk to the computers. There's also a procedure for...

Red flashing light
The flashing light probably means that your coolant level is a little low. That's its secondary function. The level sensor can go bad, but it's not a common thing. The entire reservoir has to be...

1998/99 Rialta front end alignment specs?
All of them that I've checked so far use the same specs. I'm not quite sure on the ones with the 5 cylinder engine though.

Why is water coming out my hose fill for city hook up?
There's a spring loaded plunger in the center of the water fill that sometimes gets tilted and doesn't close properly. You may be able to wiggle it with your finger and get it to seat. You could...

More than likely the brake light switch is bad. It's a common problem on VW products.

Tires on ice and snow
Probably the best advice I would give for driving on ice/snow is DON'T.
The Vanco tires that were original equipment have very little traction in slippery conditions, including sand. You can...

They're usually in the trunk. They can also be hidden under one of the rear seats or in the engine compartment. There's a distinct possibility that they've been removed.

trying to find the OBD port on 1996 Rialta that has a 1995 engine
The Scangauge II will not work on the OBD I units, even with the adapter. You'd need VCDS to read the computers. You can also find information on the web on how to read the codes using the Blink...

Starter for Generac NP-300 in '99 Rialta
You'll need the model number off of your generator name plate to know which part number to get. Looks like prices are around $100. You can find the manuals at:

Not all of them have the air bags on the rear. It was an option. If you do have them, the fill/check valve will be just in front of the rear tires, one on each side, under the coach. It's an air...

New to the group & needing info about renting a Rialta
There are few, if any, places to rent a Rialta. The biggest "problem" is that the newest units are 10 years old. Rental companies want to have the latest ones available. You'd have to really...

Looking to Purchase 2000 Rialta HD
The '97-'01 Rialta are all very close, possibly a few cosmetic type changes. In '02 they started using the 201 HP engine, but the rest is similar.
Sounds like a reasonable price to me,...
