Sorry about that, Yes it is the Hot water tank.
I was sure it could be welded and this pretty much confirms it.

Mike what year is your Roadtrek. Mine is a 1987 and perhaps does not have a ASME Code tank with overflow protection. I really know nothing about propane and on a learning...
