Its almost impossible due to the limited access and blocked view. The lower hose clamp is nearly impossible to see and remove as it is below the hatch opening.
I did a one time fix for this...

I have a 95 RT210 and have done mostly what you are asking about. I added the trimetric monitor, the smart charger, extra batteries. works great. The original magnetek converter is junk. Charges...
