Dump the Generator.

Had the same issue, and hated the pain of the generator (noise, etc.).

Buy a nice invertor and a few Lithium batteries and you will be fine !

We have a 2014 Travato and just clicked in mile 75,000.

We travel a lot with 100 to 150 days a year on the road.

The Promaster is awesome! We have no problems at all with the van or the engine...
