I saw an Agile that used a vertical bike rack with the left size removed so it could fit with the spare without an extender. I've been trying to track down the unit so I could check it out.

Re: Roads to avoid
I've made that mistake too. The road reminded me of the uphill switchbacks in the National Forest north of Clear lake, from the lower campground to the top of the mountain. By the way, if you take...

If you're staying at the campground for awhile, don't expect much charge help from your solar panels. But you probably will see the sun.

Re: A "B" with a RV-style door, not a sliding door
It always seemed to make a lot of sense to me to replace the sliding door with a hinged door on a B. It would be quieter in a campsite and much easier to deal with.

Re: Sportsmobile options, split from E-Trek topic
The Roadtrek Agile has a pull-out table (small) available to the driver's seat. It pulls out of a drawer in the cabinetry behind the seat. I find it useful for a laptop.

Re: Roadtrek Sprinters all compressor frig
My Agile has the compressor fridge. There is plenty of battery capacity to run the fridge, furnace at night, watch a movie via inverter, charge iPhone and IPad, lights, etc. When spending more than...

Re: Late Winter Trip to Death Valley
395 is on the eastern side of the Sierra, so you'd be avoiding most of the danger of snowy roads. There is a bit of elevation, but nothing like the mountains you'd have to cross going down I-5 or...

My Agile's in-dash stereo/nav system and the rear Sony system can use the same speakers or flip the switch to change. Both units also can play the same format music DVDs and USB memory sticks. A...

I stayed in a National Forest campground that was just what I wanted. I was looking for tall trees, quiet, maybe a babbling brook. I carefully drove down 8 miles of dirt road to get there. It was...

We fit the definition for a tourer. We seldom state at a campsite for more than a couple of days before moving on to the next National Park, state park, forest, or some cute little town. On a...

In the case of my Agile, there is a little door on the front that holds a microSD card. That card holds the map database and probably the software for the nav system. Pop it out and plug it into a...

I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. Tioga pass (eastern route to Yosemite) isn't usually open until sometime in May or June. As you can imagine, it is quite a job to plow that road since it hangs on the...

It looks like Camping World is selling them. Does anyone know if this is the original company or whether someone just bought the trademark?

I use the "TV Antenna Helper" app (android) to show a map of my current position with respect to the tv broadcast towers within range of me. It is handy to knowing the direction.

Thanks! The new manual for the Agile is a big improvement, but is missing the wiring and plumbing diagrams. I guess I'll keep both.

The shift points are amazing. Shifting into top gear at 230+ mph? If I ever see one of these on the road, I hope I can get out of the way fast enough.

I haven't heard anything about a camping ban at state parks. If so, it must be only some state parks or very new since I had no problem at Big Sur a week ago.

One will be to trigger a little circuit to flash a small LED...
