I recently purchased a 1988 Vanagan E-150. It would be nice to convert it to a 4x4 but I think it would be too expensive, so I'm thinking of just raising up 2 or 3 inches.

Ford spring code 44 OEM part numbers

I was able to decode the VIN some more.

I'm still trying to decipher the spring code 44P.

1FD = Ford Motor Company USA - Ford - Incomplete Vehicle.
E = Class E Hydraulic Brakes; 6,001-7,000...
