Re: Awning
In my RT RS the crank clips onto the sofa/bed brace about 18" from the floor with two neoprene clips. Very convenient, out of the way, no rattling. The center support (2-Piece) came held in the same...

Re: Small engine storage procedure
I don't use additives in my small engine devices, either. I do, however, use "real" gas in them, ie, ethanol-free gasoline. A little pricey, but the small engines are pretty efficient and it's...

Re: Fresh water tank drain, GWV sprinter
I hate to think this mystery might entail a trip under the Sprinter for a look see. From Bartow here. Travel through Polk City on 33 frequently to various state parks north and east. Sorry to see...

Re: quick battery question
Agree with Caped Crusader. Charge your well drained battery for 24 hours on shore power. A 30 minute alternator charge doesn't amount to anything. Hope that works for you. Batteries aren't cheap.

Re: Onan 2.8 generator
Think you are right. Classes A folks probably expect hook-ups where they stop. Less bookdocking. Besides, they have lot more storage space for a portable, as do Class Cs. I'll take my B with the...

Re: Onan 2.8 generator
Guilty, too, of not exercising the lp Onan regularly. I try to remember to do it at least once per month for an hour under the a/c load (here in Florida I can always find a day that the a/c...

Re: Apple Cut in half to keep refrigerator fresh?
What a waste of an apple. I've heard of that for refrigerators in use, but not in storage. Seems to me it would attract insects, mice, etc. And, smell itself when rotted. I'd use baking soda if...

You'd still have to remove or open the closure. I would have thought they would have...

Probably plain lack of sales. We drove one, thinking we could get more room on a...

It takes us about 45-60 leisure mins to get on the road as we prep the Trek right after the last trip. That is, the day after the trip the Trek gets fueled, cleaned, restocked with clothing and...
