I would say that as long as your using good and...
I would say that as long as your using good and correct gasoline in your van then that gas is good for the generator. What's important is the "detergents" and quality of gas, not the octane.

Personally I think basic "majority rules" is a bad idea, simply because 51% should not be telling 49% how to live. That's a recipe for a lot of unhappy residents. An 80% rule might make more sense....
