I think they are referring to using each side without the full bed being fully made up(the middle filler). The power sofa is still there across the back.

I like both the Zion and the Travato. Pleasure-Way would be in the running and a consideration if only they offered up a model that did not block off the back door of the van like all their models...

I wish they offered a model that had seating/beds on the sides and not seating across the back blocking use/pass through of the rear cargo doors. Same for Pleasure Way, RoadTrek, and Leisure Travel...

I'd like to see 2, 12v AGM's standing on end in that compartment. I'd also like to see AGM's mounted on the underside of Class B's with the battery laying on the side to make them less tall.

The only thing new I've seen making the rounds is this Thinsulate for automotive use. Supposedly a couple high end cars have it in the headliner. I've also seen rolls of it for sale on ebay.

Top balancing is risky and not worth it as there is not that much to gain at the very top. The charge curve at some point goes vertical and fast. Not worth it up there.

I see triple and quad alternator kits available and also 375 amp alternators. As soon as cell prices drop; recharging a big pack won't be an issue.
