I ended up using exploding (tri-pod) pop-rivets...
I ended up using exploding (tri-pod) pop-rivets for my install. The same type of rivets kayakers use. They worked like a charm to attach my brackets to the fiberglass....

I did the combustion gas block test at the radiator today on my 1989 and it seemed to pass. I pumped the bulb for over 10 minutes and it stayed blue. I guess this means my head gasket isn't pregnant.

How long would you expect a properly maintained, but NOT rebuilt, LA360 to last? I am referring to the LA360 up until 1993, not the Magnum 360.

Shorting your deep cycle battery to a dead or near dead starter battery isn't exactly good for your deep cycle considering you will probably pull >100 amps. Also make sure you have at least 8 AWG...

It needed a new refridgerator which I replaced with a 12v/120 electric and the generator needed tweaked. Other than that it is road ready.
