I remember thinking I'd have to load the box with a LOT of stuff to be near the limit of the Stowaway II frame. No issues with weight.

View out the back is fine. I can see the bikes, but they don't block the traffic, because the rear view camera is mounted at the top above the back doors.

I did a combination of a Stowaway II frame and a diamondplate tool box. I chose the side-opening toolbox so I could mount bike racks on the top. It's been a great solution.

I combined a Stowaway II carrier and a diamondplate toolbox with a side opening. I mounted the toolbox to the swing away carrier and mounted Thule racks on top. I can carry two bikes and have a ton...
