Hose size

I used the standard hose size which I think was 3". It was the same size that was already in the tube/casing. So it fit just replacing it. Your current hose is less than 3"?

I have a 1993 roadtrek 210 popular. Just bought it from someone. They towed a small Jeep on a flat bed trailer with no problems. Gas mileage went from about 14mpg to 8mpg towing Hope that helps!

It's a 1993 Roadtrek 210 Popular. I'm 100% sure it's empty. It's white a plastic tank under the vehicle and there's absolutely no water in it.
