I just went out and opened the flat and looked in with a flashlight on our 07 C190P Roadtrek.

The toilet sits about 6" above the van floor on a raised bathroom floor.

I could see hating the black tank dump if you were using gravity and a slinky, but with a macerator it is very quick, easy, and clean. No rinsing anything unless you want to pour a bucket of water...
