Me too, it doesn't make sense to me. We have one at home and it is nice for a long shower, but not so nice the rest of the time because of the delay and wasted water until it gets hot.

Yep, unless it has vented air gap, the aluminum will transmit most of the heat to whatever is under it.

Be aware that the mounting area for a convection...

Be aware that the mounting area for a convection microwave may not be large or open enough for a convection over or combo unit.

We have heard of several units that actually melted the phony wood...
