One would hope it is not just a power hungry ranger, but suppose that happens. More likely would probably be that it is a new rule (we haven't run in to that one yet) or they have too many cheaters...

Onan's can't use a throttle for speed control as they are fixed rpm AC generators and would lose 60 hz power. They would have to totally redesign to be an inverter generator to be able to run rpm...
