Did the Watt cell give a warm up or start up time? At 500 watts, it certainly would not be a full time or even much time item, so startup to full output would ideally need to be quick for spot using...

A lot depends on the fuel cell size that is used, I think, as an 8 amp 100 watt one would give enough total power for most of us for a day at nearly 200 amp hours, but wouldn't help much on a 100 amp...
