I think it is very clear about how comfortable...

I think it is very clear about how comfortable the OP is about using a code reader, so why suggest the he/she go buy one and then look up codes?

You mentioned that you do not feel comfortable using a code reader. That leaves you to have someone do it for you. AutoZone will read the code for you or go to a local garage.
