Davyd, you don't absolutely need to have a 4x4...

Davyd, you don't absolutely need to have a 4x4 for clearance on a Sprinter. You can just install a small 2" lift kit from Van Compass...

I’m not converting mine to 4x4. But I did decide to give it a 3” lift & rear locker (coming very soon). Plus if I get stuck I’ll have a winch and Maxtrax to get me out of trouble.
