The Aquarium at Newport south of you is worth a look but if you're coming as far south as Monterey California that one is about the best there is.

Don't forget WARM.Come on down to SoCal but beware . The Campgrounds on our coast are pricey. State Park campgrounds are the worst. Some are $40 a night just for a strip of dirt and I wish I could...
