Re: Advanced RV

You can sign up for Advanced RV's monthly newsletter which is generally has up-to-date information. I just received mine today and they feature a couple of custom designed Bs. One has a unique back...

Re: Advanced RV

Yes, they have a tri-fold sofa and can either leave the gap in back for bikes inside or put in a filler cushion for a longer bed in the 24'-1" model. They also have the standard 22'-9" model without...

Re: Advanced RV

Very similar. Same tri-fold operation on side rails. There are no ottomans and infill pads and boards like most others use with a bi-fold sofa.

Re: Advanced RV

Sportsmobile folks are around and I suspect since they have to participate in their own design they might do more research than the average person. However, the last time I looked Sportsmobile had...

Re: Advanced RV

The issue of bikes being stored inside to me is more of traveling and keeping them clean. One trip down a dusty gravel road would attest to the desire to have them inside. Some people do have...

Re: Advanced RV

Rocky,

My GWVan is more conventional in that the only inverter I have is a 750W inverter mainly to power the TV on one duplex outlet. The microwave will only work with shore power or with the...

Re: Advanced RV

The Advanced RV they had at the Tampa show was also at the B10 Rally. It was a fully loaded redundant systems model with the four batteries plus generator, propane, etc. That's why it cost so much....

Re: Advanced RV

Pattonsr,

My head swims when you talk electrical.

Looks like I've got some reading to do to understand all this. I do know one thing. I have 46,000 miles on my 2 house battery 2011...

Re: Advanced RV

Mike,

We're looking forward to seeing you.

I mentioned the ERA 70A plan fixed bed (https://winnebagotouring.com/products/2014/era/floorplans/) because they do a few unique things. They've...

Re: Advanced RV

Miken,

Hope to see you at B10 in the UP. I looked at your website today in some detail. I think if you are going without a dealer network so everyone can actually see your B you ought to post a...

Re: Advanced RV

There really isn't anything tech savvy to worry about using a USB charge station. If it's there you just plug in. If you have a USB charger it is just a device you then have to plug into a regular...

Re: Advanced RV

Our sleeping bags are rated down to 25F. I haven't had a problem getting comfortable. It seems the colder it is the easier it is to sleep for us. If it gets much colder sweat pants and hoodie sweat...

Re: Advanced RV

Hi Mike. Glad to hear things are picking up.

We are at Big Bend NP right now and I have a suggestion on this fine 39 deg. F morning. Put a switch accessible without getting out of bed that will...

Just found this. I did. Thanks.[/quote]
I checked my Great West Van wheel covers. They too have a third party name, not Mercedes Benz.

Re: Advanced RV

It looks as if Advanced RV has updated their web site. I got their newsletter this morning and went and checked it out. Their About (https://www.advanced-rv.com/about-advanced-rv/) page has a photo...

Re: Advanced RV

Most expensive on a cost per sf generally for a B. If you don't want or understand the advantages of a B then you can get much larger Winnebago Views cheaper for instance. If you don't want to stop...

Re: Advanced RV

A Class B has always been the most expensive RV so nothing really changed. You are just dealing with relative inflation. I drove 10,500 miles in two months time to Alaska and back last summer. I saw...

Re: Advanced RV

I think once you get up to a certain price point near $100,000 give or take for a new fully outfitted Class B offered by the major converters you can either afford it or not afford it. So once you...

Re: Advanced RV

If you don't have Class Bs an RV show is worthless to me. ;)

The Minneapolis RV & Camping Show last February had 18 different Class Bs presented by four different dealers. Just about everything...

I saw the first van they were converting and it is my understanding this month it was supposed to be done and Mike and Marcia Neundorfer were taking it on the road for an initial run. So I don't see...

Re: Advanced RV

Starting up might be proving tougher than imagined. I think they originally intended to have the first RV out by June or July. That obviously did not happen. Seeing no actual plan layout or more...
