Re: Winnebago Trend / Itasca Viva on Ram ProMaster

I'm fixated on the inches. :D

As much as I like the design plans of the Advanced RV Ocean One and the Winnebago ERA 70A I haven't reconciled liking the 24 foot long Sprinter. I even still have...

Re: Winnebago Trend / Itasca Viva on Ram ProMaster

If 7'-6" it is 10" wider than the Sprinter vans of 6'-8" That 4" over 10'-0" is an ouch! category killer for garages if you desire no more than a 10 foot door and some tunnels and Going to the Sun...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

The ProMaster van is closer in size to the 144" WB Sprinter (Agile/Ascent) than the 170" WB Sprinter.

Since the Promaster is about 3" wider I am still going to guess the width will be closer to...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

Go back to the first page in this thread. The ProMaster discussion veered to the Winnebago Trend which will be a big box C on a ProMaster cab frame. We've been speculating the width of the Trend...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

Most standard parking spaces are 8, 8'-6" or 9 foot wide by 20 foot long. Parallel parking depths are generally 22-24 foot long and of course usually do not have a width marking. driving aisles...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

The road is less than 16 feet wide. I measured one spot at 15'-7" at a rest pull over. That might have been generous. Get yourself a Class C and try it. They might not even let you on the road and I...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

Here are the dimensions for the various Sprinters used for RVs. The basic width is slightly less than 6'-8" for all the vans and 6'-4" for the cab chassis. The Promasters are about 3" wider. In...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

The tunnel is the extreme exclamation point to the 15 mile Red River Gorge Trail in the Daniel Boone National Forest, but with a roadway less than 16 feet wide two Class Cs with 8 ft. boxes, mirrors...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

My eye says 8 feet wide considering the Promaster is wider than the Sprinter and the box flair out appears more than the View. Then since it is a box the awning option will had another 5" as I doubt...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

If there is an air conditioner on top it is going to be higher than 10 feet easily. Also, don't kid yourself on the width. The box will be a full 8 foot wide minimum.

The competition would be...

Re: Ducato/ProMaster news...

In our small BEE Social Group we had two couples just this year, Sprinter Winnebago Via and Itasca Navion iQ owners return to Class B buying the Winnebago ERA. The biggest reason was driveability...
