The point is the assumption flex panels are glued down on a Sprinter is a false statement as well as I am guessing the comment of 1-1/2" minimum is just as bogus rule of thumb without any reasoning...

My take away is they achieve 50-60 amps of charging with that 960w solar setup in its most optimistic circumstances. I can charge my batteries at an Idling rate of 220 amps any time night or rain...
