If so, check anything/everything modified or added to your van for being a source of interference.

I'd check the battery and all ground connections to make sure there is...

12v TV or powered by an inverter?

Is there static for over-the-air tv, cable and DVD/VCR?

Does it help if you're plugged into grid power?
