I don't think either program gives you the option to connect to networks you find. That would be useful. I use the tool built into Windows to connect to a network.

The Cantenna probably works as advertised.

Wilton did lots of experimenting with homemade can antennas and got good results.

I want it to pull in those weak signals when that is the only thing available. For instance, there is a wifi connection nearby that I usually only see at night. Too much interference during the day...
