I did the same thing in preparation for an upcoming plumbing project.

If you don't already have one, I recommend getting a mechanic's creeper. Makes it almost fun.

It is totally against US law to "void the warranty" of ANY product, including vehicles merely by adding aftermarket equipment. The worst that can happen is that a failure ACTUALLY CAUSED by such...

I think that this high temperature issue is the biggest thing that is not yet being addressed by the RV world. Tesla certainly pays a great deal of attention to this. Their battery pack is liquid...
