My new Volvo XC60 has a second small battery specifically to handle the stresses of restarting the engine after it has turned itself off at stoplights.

Well, the other choice is simply a "dumb"...

Well, the other choice is simply a "dumb" separator that only closes when the engine is running, combined with a Trik-L-Start to permit the solar to keep the chassis battery charged.
