That's my fallback... for some reason if you buy...

That's my fallback... for some reason if you buy their remote starter they don't need the dealership to get involved, but if you buy their idle control they do... I don't really need a remote start,...

That is my understanding as well... and I plan to get an aftermarket kit, but they all (AFAIK) state that the dealership must do the reprogramming of the computer.

I'm wondering if I can DIY it...
