Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Actually, they have a couple used (2014) ones for $59k. Here's a link: https://www.lamesarv.com/2014-Winnebago-TRAVATO-FTW70217
Their new 2015's are going for $67k, which is still a pretty good...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Well, if they are going to give you a credit for the leather, you could just take those cushions to an upholstery shop and have them recovered. It shouldn't be a big deal really, and you could get...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Too bad about the issues. Sounds like the order-taker screwed up big time.

I think if it's just the rear cushions and the screen door, they will send the parts to your dealer and he will put them...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Keep in mind, if you are only looking at pictures, the distances can look deceiving. Often they are shot with a wide angle lens. Some vans look like the seat is right against a bulkhead, but there...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

I like that bin In the front of the cab (along the ceiling). Looks like a stock part. Wonder if it could be easily added to my van.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Love the red color - much richer looking than what Winnebago is doing.

The rear sofa, though, I don't care for. Diminishes alot of the potential utility of this van.

The power connector looks...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Looks like Dan's part to me.

Wow, that is a great review from Colonial. They really have stepped up their game on reviews with details!
Too bad it's taken so long to get this kind of information...

You don't need a smartphone. Any digital camera nowadays will shoot in mp4 or mov format. You just upload the file to youtube thru your web browser.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Wow, that Travato for $45k is a smokin' deal.

They are asking $65.9k for my old van on the lot right now - it will probably go for $60k in the end. Not bad for 1 year old that was $70k new.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Is the sink big, or the countertop small? Looks like the same sink as in the 59k, but without the accessories.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Well if you are right on that, then even a small battery should level out the voltage just fine, if it even needs that kind of buffer. That buffer would only be needed for a very short time until...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

my thinking on this issue. if your tooling down the highway going over 40 miles per hour your getting most of the output of the 220 amp alternator.

a 2000 watt inverter is about 145 amps. having...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

I guess I don't understand why Gerry is saying the battery is so key. If I understand correctly, one could run the engine generator (or alternator) and power the AC from the inverter even if there...

mlts22 is correct. They won't let them saw into the unibody that much. The Transit models will be the same when they come onboard.[/quote]

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

Brand recognition. I spotted a van the other day at a gas station - immediately knew it was a Roadtrek.

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

It's been mentioned before - the difference is OCC vs. CCC.

They are both the same when you compare apples to apples. Around 2000 lbs payload.

The weight of conversion is "around" 2000 lbs no...

Re: Roadtrek Zion - Promaster based Class B Motorhome

With that material choice, I would assume that virtually any color would be possible.

Most van manufactures only have a short list of fairly conservative choices. This white is about as bold a...
