I think I have identified it. I believe that the pipes are indeed PEX pipes. My confusion stems from the fact that my dealer sold me some incorrect gauge pipe. Still.... this is a very tight...

My 2001 Roadtrek is driving me nuts with leaky water pipes. EVERY PIPE CONNECTION on this van leaks.

What kind of pipes are these? (they are not PEX pipe... see comparison picture... slightly...
