A new reply from Roadtrek. There is supposed to be a rubber washer in the fitting. This will hold the pressure, and not leak. It also prevents siphoning back into the fresh water tank, if/when the...

Hmmm. The system seems to work fine, when sealed up, without damaging the pump. There is pressure behind the valves, all the time.

Do any other RT owners have this same fitting? Do you just...

With the water on, and the hose hooked up, the water runs out the hole, when the sprayer is closed.
