Re: Going to try a little snowbirding

Re: Going to try a little snowbirding
A few years back we stopped for fuel and a bio break at a truck stop in NV. I think it was on I 80 somewhere near Carson City or Reno. Anyway, there were slots lining the hall where the bathrooms...

Re: Going to try a little snowbirding
Yum yum, then.
I think copilot also noted that the Gifford shop may close end of October, so we may not make it this year. It may vary based on weather and demand, though. It is on the long...

Re: Going to try a little snowbirding
Have an appointment scheduled for the fuel pump repair on Tuesday. Please say a prayer for me that it goes well and we are travel ready next week. I might be able to convince the copilot that there...

Re: Going to try a little snowbirding
As the birthplace of Starbucks, they seem to have captured the essentials pretty well. We've tried many US coffee houses and only Starbucks and Biggby make a decent and consistent product. Even our...

Boondockers welcome - haven't tried it but have read mostly positive reports. There's a longish discussion thread on here about it. Things like insurance...

Assuming the question isn't rhetorical and is directed to me, yes. We wing it pretty much everywhere we travel. Boondock wherever convenient. Use whatever facilities we find along the way for...

Re: Going to try a little snowbirding

It won't stick around for very long though, as was suggested in the article Davydd linked.
I thumbed through some...

Were you planning on crossing the lower 48 high ( I-94, I-90, I-80) mid (I-70...
