You could have problem with ethanol compatibility...

You could have problem with ethanol compatibility with some types of rubber types which could be used in pump or faucets or ball valves’ orings. RV water pumps have a lot of fragile rubber parts.

Perhaps you have one valve to bypass and two...

Perhaps you have one valve to bypass and two close to the heater to isolate it.
