I added a length of speaker wire for the subwoofer so the wire could be taped along the wall, keeping it out of the way. May want to create some kind
Added a magnetic clasp on the right side to hold the “door” shut. Although the lever used to raise and lower the sofa bed kinda does the same thing.
Replaced the mounting brackets on the left side with hinges so the bevel under the seat can swing open like a door.

My modification doesn’t look like anything different when the door is closed. Nice little hiding place.
