      Depends on manufacturer. Some are attached to roof rack some glued to roof. I’ve never seen one bolted through roof.

      Top is fiberglass sides are canvas. Designed not to leak but half your roof has been cut away so, yeah eventually.

      The Truma combi also has a switch on top of it that shuts off gas flow. Many shops will switch this off when winterizing.
