1995 Rialta electric rear view mirrors.

Both of my rear view mirrors seem to have broken gears as they will not adjust fully up or down and I hear a clicking sound as they reach the end of their current limited movement. Anyone else experienced this and if so is there a fix...or would I have to replace the mirrors? Also, is there a source for the mirrors...used or new?

Mine have not broke, but your can be repaired. It's a Euro Van call VW & ck on line. Here are some places that might be able to help you.
